Benjamin called us yesterday evening. I so happen to be the one to pick up his call. Chatted with him for a while. Asked me to go and watch a movie with him in the evening. With nothing on then, I agreed.He called back later on, to postpone our meeting to Saturday. Was fine with it as well.In the end, we met for dinner after work. He finished at around 6pm. BUt he went to shop around to wait for me as I finish work at 8pm.It was not difficult looking out for him. I reached first by the way... =)Went to Magic Wok for dinner. Chatted through out the time there.This morning, HE called. Talked to him for a while. Asked me why I did not call him last ngiht. =) I wanted to at around 4am. But I know he has work to do then. So I dropped that idea... Forced myself to go back to sleep... Though I very miss talking to him...All this while, I have never been out alone with a guy... HE has never asked me, "How is your boyfriend?"But this morning... he asked me that. I was quite taken aback... Do you consider this as the strong unspoken connection we have? Or pure coincidence... I choose the former...Today was very pissed off with some Singaporeans. I HATE SINGAPOREANS!!! And am so ashamed that I am one myself...One of the Meritus Privilege member wanted to make a reservation for tomorrow. Quoted him the rate and went ahead to make the reservation. He said that he is celebrating his 2 year wedding anivesary and asked any additional benefits will be given to them. For all couples having their honeymoon or celebrating their wedding annivesary by staying in our hotel, we would place some fruits and flowers in their room.He add on to say that he has applied for the membership but have yet to get his permanent card. Said that I will give him the contact number of the Club and he can check with them."You are going to help me, are you?" He asked.DAMN... I HATE MPC MEMBERS AS WELL!!!If we were to help all MPC members with their enquries, why is there a need to have the Club??? We can jolly-well be the reservation staff of Marina Mandarin cum consultants for the membership. USE YOUR BRAIN CAN YOU!!!Asked to speak to the Duty Manager on duty then...Was informed that eventually, they was not very nice to him as well. Serve him right... Demanding son of a bitch...Then, another member wanted to make a reservation for National Day. For some reason (which I am not suppose to say at the moment), we are not taking in any reservation for that day. Told her there is no more allotment for complimentary room nights... No rooms available at the moment...She, "Not even if I use my other paying room night vouchers?"Me, "Yes. You may like to call us back nearer to the date to check for the availability again?"She, "We are suppose to make the reservation 2 weeks prior to our arrival date. But I am now making it 5 months in advance. Is it because your hotel is undergoing some renovation works then?"***Speechless***Told Jackie about this.Went back to her and told her that we only left the Meritus Club Suite and inform her that the surrounding area of our hotel will be undergoing renovation then...In the end, no reservation was made for her. DAMN...This guy from a company called to make a cancellation for a reservation of a guest who was suppose to arrive today. It is considered a last minute cancellation. As per hotel's policy, for any last minute cancellation, there will be a one night penalty charge to the guarantor. In a laughing tone, "Do you want me to get my lawyer to sue you?"Me, "This is the hotel's policy."He, "You take note of this first. I will get back to you later."Asked me for my name as well. I gave him with pride. I did my job... Did what I am suppose to do. Go sue me for all I care... I do not stand to lose anyway...The urge of me wanting to migrate to Malaysia is getting way too strong. So... Do not ever panic if I suddenly go missing one day.
